Find 25 images related to Aspen 1970. These images will begin to supplement and extend the materials we’re finding in the library archive. The images can be found online or in print. They can be screenshots of videos or scans from books or document or photographs.
The image does not necessarily need to be directly of the events of Aspen 1970. It should be related in some way. The images should “say” or show something. They should express or sketch some aspect or sense of the Aspen 1970 event. Each image should show us something that is significant to our emerging understanding of what happened there and then. Maybe these are images that trigger a question. We’ll think about the image not only as a bearer of information about the event, but as form and composition that itself crystallizes a narrative and meaning.
Pay attention to the various technical details of the image. Is it high or low resolution? How was it created, with what technology, in what medium? When and by whom? How and where did you find it?
For each image, record a set of annotations that describe its technical details and elucidate its content.
